As of the 1st of October 2014 motorists will start paying for parking spaces in the Tzaneen Central Business District (CBD). Motorists will have to buy smartcards, which are currently available at municipal offices in Agatha Street and other shops in the CBD. According to Johannes Malatji who is the Manager for Law Enforcement at the Greater Tzaneen Municipality the smartcards will also be available at selected shops for customer convenience and easy accessibility.
